Susan Rich, MD, MPH
Dr. Susan Rich is a board-certified child/adolescent and adult psychiatrist in Potomac, MD with an interest in diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders, executive functioning issues, and anxiety.
She holds both a Master of Public Health in health policy and a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of North Carolina; completed a residency in psychiatry at Georgetown University and a two-year fellowship in child/adolescent psychiatry at Children's National Medical Center. She is a distinguished fellow in the American Psychiatric Association, current President of the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Society of Greater Washington, and President/founder of 7th Generation Foundation, Inc. - a nonprofit dedicated to prevention, training, and program development for neurodevelopmental disorder associated with prenatal alcohol exposure (ND-PAE).
Situated on a farm in Potomac, MD, Dr. Rich's private practice, Therapeutic and Learning Centers, P-LLC Combines farm animal therapy with psychopharmacology and other modalities to optimize functioning, particularly in children with histories of adoption, foster care, and trauma.
