Albena Fallon, LCPC
Albena Fallon is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor specializing in Substance Abuse treatment. Albena obtained her Master’s Degree in clinical and professional counseling from Liberty University with a specialization in family therapy. Her work in the treatment of substance abuse is informed by practice in various contexts (school, child welfare, and community mental health), and training in a variety of therapeutic approaches. Her treatment approach centers on helping teens struggling with co-occurring issues find purpose and meaning through the exploration and re-organization of habitual patterns.
The focus of her work is deepened by helping people learn to sustain recovery gains with self-compassion and awareness, rather than judgment and shame. She believes that when released from unhelpful cycles, people can enjoy the freedom of a substance free life and the joy of healthy relationship with self and others.
